I graduated in 2005 from University of Ulster, Jordanstown with a BSc Honours degree in physiotherapy, and commenced my career immediately working in the hospital setting in outpatients, orthopedics and respiratory departments. I have always had a passion for animals and it has always been an ambition of mine to have a career working with animals and be involved in providing excellent animal welfare. Over the years I have had the opportunity to own many furry friends and worked as a kennel hand in two boarding kennels, and in a large and small animal veterinary surgery during school holidays and weekends for 9 years! This path led me to retrain to become an animal physiotherapist by completing a 3 year post graduate qualification in animal physiotherapy with The College of Animal Physiotherapy.
My goal as an animal physiotherapist is to provide a high standard of care for your pet. I will at all times treat your pet with respect and dignity and aim to ensure the patient is comfortable with the assessment and treatment techniques, and performed at a level whereby the pet feels secure with the owner.
